What Anchor is

Anchor is a pregnancy companion app built for expecting partners. It includes a food safety scanner, a week-by-week guide, a conversation advisor, and a community forum. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice

This one matters. The food scanner, the week guide, and the advisor are all AI-generated. They are tools to help you feel more informed and prepared. They are not a substitute for your doctor, midwife, or any other medical professional. If you have any concerns about the pregnancy, talk to your provider. Don't rely on this app to make medical decisions.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login information secure. Don't share your account. You have to be 18 or older to sign up.

Free tier and Pro

Free accounts get 3 food scans. After that, you need a Pro membership to keep scanning. Pro is $8 per month, billed through Stripe, and you can cancel any time. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of your billing period.

Refunds

We don't offer refunds on monthly charges that have already been billed. If something went wrong on our end, reach out and we'll make it right.

Community rules

The community is for real people going through real pregnancies. Keep it honest, keep it decent. Don't post anything that's abusive, harassing, or designed to mislead. We reserve the right to remove posts and ban accounts that violate this.

Your content

Anything you post to the community is yours. By posting it, you give us permission to display it within the app. We don't claim ownership of it and we won't use it outside the app.

Availability

We keep the app running as reliably as we can, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. If something breaks, we'll fix it. We're not liable for any losses caused by downtime or errors in AI-generated content.

Changes

If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll let you know by email. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
